CENTERBURG, OH — Today, Centerburg High School proudly hosted its Spring National Signing Day ceremony, honoring four standout student-athletes as they committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

Surrounded by family, coaches, and teammates in the high school gymnasium, these seniors officially signed their Letters of Intent, marking the culmination of years of hard work, discipline, and dedication to the Trojans’ athletic programs.

Meet the Recruits
The following student-athletes were recognized for their achievements:

Blane Ball | Muskingum University (Football and Track) A versatile powerhouse for the Trojans, Blane will be taking his talents to New Concord to compete as a dual-sport athlete for the Fighting Muskies.

Lauren Ellis | West Liberty University (Basketball) After a stellar career on the hardwood, Lauren has committed to the Hilltoppers, where she will bring her competitive edge to the West Liberty women’s basketball program.

Abigail Herren | Miami University (Softball) Abigail is headed to Oxford to join the RedHawks. Her consistency at the plate and in the field has been a cornerstone of the Trojans’ softball success.

Payton Tucker | Grace College (Cross Country and Track) Payton will continue her distance-running career at Grace College in Indiana. Tucker has been a cornerstone of the Trojans’ endurance programs, and her consistency and work ethic will serve her well as a Lancer.

A Legacy of Excellence
"Today is a testament to the character and resilience of these young adults," said the Centerburg Athletic Department. "Not only have they excelled on the field and track, but they have also served as leaders within our school community. We look forward to watching them thrive at the next level."
